I am comprehension, I am expansion, I am purpose

Named for the vastness of space, I symbolize the wisdom and purpose to be found throughout the universe.

The migration of the planets,

The moving of the stars and the sun;

The heavens together, harmonizing,

Singing together with one voice.

I am their child.

The vastness of the universe

Made solid, made stone.

Not heaven, but the heavens;

Not a mystery, but an enigma;

A fraction, infinitesimally small,

Of the wider consciousness of the universe.

I am a symbol of wisdom, a reminder--

We expand, we transform

With the movements of the heavens.
